10 Great Gift Ideas for Loved Ones in Cancer Treatment

In this post, I am sharing 10 great gift ideas for your family, friends or loved ones that are going through cancer treatment. I personally love each one of these items and found them to be very helpful on my breast cancer journey.

Thinking of You Blanket:

Show your loved ones you are sending them a big cozy hug. This blanket is super cozy and great for someone while they are resting at home on the couch or something they can take to chemo and think about the family and friends who support them.

Slip Pillowcases:

These have been a game changer for me and I will not sleep with one. The goal of silk pillowcases is to reduce the friction and tugging on your hair, therefore limiting the amount of hair loss. This is great for people going through chemo or even after chemo as they are trying to reduce hair loss.

Slip Pillowcase gift set with silk eye mask:

Silk pillowcases are a big favorite of mine as they reduce the friction and tugging on your hair. The eye mask is also great, especially if the person you are gifting needs to spend any time in the hospital or in the chemo infusion center.

Spoonful of Comfort Gift Baskets:

My Godmother sent me a wonderful gift from Spoonful of Comfort after my initial chemo treatment. She sent me chicken noodle soup, homemade rolls and cookies. Such a great gift to send to anyone to show you are thinking of them. There are tons of options from soups and Mac n’ cheese, to gift baskets for any and all occasions.

Barefoot Dreams Beanie and Scarf Set:

One of my favorite brands is Barefoot Dreams. Tthey make the softest clothing and blankets. When going through Chemo and especially the Cold Cap procedure to minimize hair loss, there is no better feeling than being cozy and warm. I had one on my couch for naps and one I took with me to chemo. The beanie was amazing to put on after cold cap especially since my hair was still wet.

Chemo Chest Port Access Long Sleeve Shirt:

Care + Wear makes great shirts that make getting chemo treatments so much easier as you don’t have take anything off and freeze during treatments. The shirts come with zippers on both sides so it doesn’t matter on what side your Catheter Port has been placed.

Get Well Soon Gift Set :

This gift set is another item that sends your friend or family member a big hug. It includes a mug, blanket, eye mask, fuzzy socks, and a tote.

Be Strong Tote Bag Care package:

This large roomy tote is great for someone who has to go to the hospital or an infusion center for treatments because it can carry a lot of stuff. The bag contains puzzle books, lotion, fuzzy socks, reusable water bottle, chaptstick, eye mask, mints and pencils.

Adult Coloring Book:

To help pass the time during treatments or while trying to keep your mind occupied while at home recovering, I found coloring to help.

Little Words Project :

Little Words Project creates bracelets with words of inspiration. It is a great way to let your loved know you are thinking of them and sending them positive thoughts. They will think of you every time they look at it! I gifted these to myself and picked an inspirational word to celebrate each milestone in treatment.
